Taipei-based retailer INVINCIBLE and Atlanta boutique A Ma Maniere are set to release their latest adidas Consortium Sneaker Exchange project that includes the adidas NMD and adidas Ultra Boost.
We’ve already seen the adidas NMD, and now we take a look at the adidas Ultra Boost from INVINCIBLE and A Ma Maniere. It comes constructed with a merino wool wove upper complimented with leather tongues and a full-length Boost midsole. Another notable feature is its cageless design with textured stripes on the sides.
Look for the INVINCIBLE and A Ma Maniere to complete the Consortium Sneaker Exchange Collection this December. Stay tuned to Sneaker Bar for the official details to come.
The interest of NMD and Ultra Boost fans was definitely piqued when the first preview of the adidas Consortium Sneaker Exchange collaboration from A Ma Maniére and Invincible for the sneaker that basically combines the two models was revealed, and part two of the collab doesn’t disappoint, either. Today we get a first look at the second half of the cross-continental collab from Atlanta’s A Ma Maniére and Taiwan’s Invincible, the Ultra Boost in an all-white colorway constructed in merino wool for the woven upper with leather detailing for the tongue. The Ultra Boost is also modified with a cageless design featuring textured stripes on each midfoot.Rumored to be releasing in December, the NMD R1 and Ultra Boost from A Ma Maniére and Invincible appears to be the grand finale for the adidas Consortium Sneaker Exchange initiative for 2017
The Adidas NMD Ultra Boost—the marquee running sneaker in Adidas’s Boost range of kicks—recently got a fall-ready redesign in the form of a new “All-Terrain” version. Now, another cold weather Ultra Boost is about to hit the market: this time, it’s a never-before-seen merino wool iteration from Atlanta sneaker shop A Ma Maniére. It’s a perfect flip of the script from Adidas as we enter the colder months of the year—not least because it locks up the possibility of sporting Ultra Boosts basically all year round.
The NMD Ultra Boost already comes with a sock-like upper; that’s part of what’s made them so comfortable and popular. So think of these like sweaters for your feet. (They’ll also save you some time in trying to buy and keep track of a few pairs of wool socks this winter.) What’s a little disconcerting, however, is that these kicks are done up in an all-white colorway. That decision seems a little counter-intuitive, given the whole winter-ready aspect of their design
